Gov't raises JTB's budget in 2019May 23, 2019

Amman, May.21 (Petra) -- The government raised the budget allocated to the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) in 2019 to JD17 million after it had allocated JD9 million in this year's budget.

The government granted the JTB, as the tourism's marketing arm, a support that aligns with the Kingdom's economic conditions, and that this support contributed to the increase of tourism sector performance indicators for 2018, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities on Tuesday.
