Tourism Minister calls for increase in investments in sector

Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Lina Annab, on Monday called for enhanced tourism investments in all the governorates of the Kingdom to accommodate an expected spike in the number of tourists.

Annab added that the tourism sector will generate 20,000 additional jobs in the hospitality industry by 2022, indicating that this comes from tourism investments.

Managing Director of Eagle Hills Jordan, Abdullah Al-Freihat, announced in a statement that the real estate investment and development firm is currently working on four major projects in the Kingdom: Saraya Aqaba, Al Raha Village, the Residences at the St. Regis Residences Amman, and the Skyline Residences serviced by W Amman Hotel, noting that the company had recently opened W Amman in the heart of the capital.
