Jordan’s field hospital received more than 12,000 patients since arriving in Gaza: Doctor

Amman, Feb. 3 (Petra) - Director of Jordan’s field hospital Gaza/56, Major Doctor Moath Mohammad Ghozlan, said the hospital staff received more than 12,000 patients since arriving in the Gaza Strip.

The hospital provided 18117 procedures, including medical and health care services through specialized clinics as well as the emergency department and the laboratory which operate around the clock, Ghozlan added.

He noted that the hospital received about 12,000 patients and performed 30 major and minor operations daily.

For their part, Gazans lauded King Abdullah's efforts in supporting the Palestinian people at all levels and his instructions to maintain the work of the Jordanian field hospital, which operates to provide the best medical services for patients in the strip.
