Health minister opens Abd Al Hadi Hospital

Amman, Aug. 5 (Petra) -- Health Minister Saad Jaber on Monday said Jordan had seen a tangible progress in the medical sector and medical tourism that will add to the already-distinguished reputation of the promising Jordanian medical sector.

Deputizing for the prime minister, Jaber said during the inauguration ceremony of the Abd Al Hadi Hospital in Amman that the opening of the hospital is considered a model for the evolving medical sector in the Kingdom and that it embodies the spirit of participation between the public and private sectors, pointing out that the ministry is doing its best to provide all means necessary to spur this sector.

On the topic of medical tourism, Jaber said that the ministry is working to facilitate the procedures for foreign patients who seek medical treatment in Jordan.
