Amman, Jan 25 (Petra) –– Deputy Premier, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi Monday discussed on the telephone with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation, especially in the economic, trade, tourism and cultural fields.

The ministers also talked on the health and economic challenges posed by the coronavirus, and the need for international efforts to counter the pandemic.

They agreed on practical steps to identify sectors for cooperation, which would allow for wider economic and trade relations, and agreed to continue consultation and hold a meeting at 'the earliest possible time' to follow up on cooperation and also discuss regional developments.

Safadi commended Ukraine's position in support of the two-state solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in accordance with the international law and international legitimacy resolutions as the way to achieve just and comprehensive peace and regional security and stability.
