MoU signed in field of recycling, spreading environmental awareness
AMMAN — The Ministry of Environment and the Civil Service Consumer Corporation on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of recycling and resorting solid waste and spreading environmental awareness, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The memorandum includes preparing awareness programmes and their implementation mechanisms to achieve mutual goals.
Environment Minister Nabil Masarweh said that the ministry seeks to build partnerships with all civil and state institutions, believing in the importance of joint national action to achieve sustainable development that enables the Kingdom to be up-to-date with the requirements of this day and age, towards progress and prosperity, in implementation of the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah.
