Special lane opened at QAIA for veterans
AMMAN — The Transport Ministry on Tuesday announced that it had designated a special lane at Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) for military retirees and their families.
The ministry, in a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, said that the move is in implementation of Royal directives on the occasion of Veterans Day.
The ministry added that it coordinated with stakeholders to designate a lane at the departure terminal and another at the arrival terminal, noting that the new lanes started operations as of Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the Civil Status and Passport Department announced on Tuesday that it had opened special lanes for the military retirees in all its offices nationwide.
