    HUDC director participates in Second Arab Lands Conference

    (Petra)-The General Director of Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDC), Jumana Attiyat, participated in the deliberations of the Second Arab Land Conference, which was held in Egypt remotely, from February 22 to 24, with a working paper on Jordan's experience in land management and reform.
    The paper tackled modernizing and reforming land administration, methods of urban development for land use, in addition to the risks triggered by random land use, according to HUDC press statement.
    Addressing the virtual event, Attiyat highlighted the Royal initiatives launched by His Majesty King Abdullah II to provide 'adequate' housing for the Jordanian citizen, which the government has implemented as part of the programs launched for this purpose, the briefing added.
    Attiyat also presented a discussion paper on the HUDC's role in managing lands in Jordan, which highlighted 'great' efforts made by the Jordanian government to achieve national goals in serving citizens, raising their living standard in relation to the housing field, and achieving sustainable urban development, outlining the HUDC's most prominent projects and programs to achieve these goals.
