    Int'l gasoline prices drop, other oil derivatives' prices rise in 2nd week of October

    Amman, Oct 19 (Petra) -- Gasoline prices globally dropped during the second week of October, compared to the first week, according to data released on Monday by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

    The ministry's figures showed that the price of 90-octane gasoline went down by 2.3 percent, going from $392.4 per ton in first week of October to $383.3, while the price of 95-octane gasoline dropped from $408.1 per ton to $395.4, a decrease of 3.1 percent.

    Diesel prices climbed by 0.3 percent, going from $336.9 per ton to $338, and the prices of kerosene also rose by 0.7 percent, from $330.7 to $333.1.

    The prices of liquefied gas for October increased by 0.6 per cent, reaching $256.1 per ton, while the Benchmark Brent crude prices rose to $41.1 in the 2nd week of the current month.
