Amman, Oct. 25 (Petra) - President of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, Fathi Jaghbir, called on industrial establishments to maintain commitment to implementing public safety measures and adhering to the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply to curb the Covid-19 pandemic.
In a press statement issued on Sunday, he said:' With the increase in the number of local Covid-19 infections, the chance of disease transmission to workers inside factories has become greater,' stressing that the 'strict' application of public safety measures inside the industrial establishments will 'positively' reduce the virus spread.
The 'lax' implementation of the necessary measures leads to infection transmission into factories and accordingly triggers their precautionary closure, according to Jaghbir.
Jaghbir also stressed the importance of reviewing public safety procedures and ensuring the 'full' implementation of all preventive measures inside factories and industrial facilities.
