Amman, Nov. 25 (Petra)- The Cities and Villages Development Bank (CVDB) has concluded a workshop organized by the Ministry of Local Administration, in cooperation with the French Development Agency (AFD), aimed to prepare multi-year investment plans for municipalities.
In a CVDB press statement issued on Wednesday, the attendees discussed, over a 3-day period, the importance to prepare the municipalities' action plans, in line with their approved strategic and development schemes seeking to practically implement them countrywide.
Speaking during the event, the ministry's head of the investment department, Adnan Za'abalawi, said 'sound' investment and local development data enable the participants to make 'correct' investment decisions to push the Kingdom's local development process.
