Amman, Jan. 12 (Petra) -- The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) closed Tuesday's trading session up by 1.55 percent at 1,706 points. A total of 7.5 million shares were traded through 3,008 transactions at a trading value of JD6.5 million.

The closing prices of 42 companies with traded shares went up, while 31 others declined. The prices of the shares of 32 others remained unchanged.
