    August 17, 2021

Amman, August 16 (Petra) -- The administration of the Kabul international airport on Monday suspended commercial flights until further notice to allow civil aviation to transport the departed.

Regional and international airlines suspended their flights to Kabul due to political and security developments, while other countries warned their citizens against traveling to Afghanistan amid massive evacuations.

Many countries in the world began evacuating their nationals from Afghanistan, after the Taliban took control of the capital, Kabul, on Sunday.
