    Jordan's oil imports rose to JOD3.5bln in 2022

    Amman, Feb 24 (Petra) - The value of Jordan's oil imports saw a 47.2 per cent increase during 2022 by JOD1.1 billion, according to the Department of Statistics (DoS).

    The DoS foreign trade data noted that the value of Jordan's imports of crude, its derivatives and mineral oils during 2022 amounted to JOD3.5 billion, compared to JOD2.4 billion in 2021.

    Fuel and mineral oils topped the country's imports of oil derivatives during 2022 at JOD980 million, followed by crude oil (petroleum) at JOD921 million. The Kingdom’s imports of oil gasoline amounted to JOD782 million, diesel at JOD770 million, kerosene at JOD13 million and lubricants at JOD37 million.
