Amman, Mar. 9 (Petra)--Director General of Royal Medical Services (RMS), Brig. Gen. Dr. Yousef Zureikat, on Thursday inaugurated activities of the 11th Scientific Pharmacy Day, held on the sidelines of the 10th International Conference of the Royal Medical Services, at King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Center.

Delivering a speech, Zureikat said this day aims to exchange pharmaceutical expertise and knowledge, which would encourage all RMS workers to improve medical services provided to patients and reach a 'high' level for their protection.

For her part, Director of RMS Pharmacy and Medical Supply, Col. Aisha Khalayleh, said Jordan's pharmacy sector has witnessed 'wide' progress to keep pace with developments, indicating that RMS pharmaceutical services shifted to providing patient-oriented care.

The day aims to implement RMS' vision to develop its services provided to patients, primarily pharmaceutical care and medical supplies in all hospitals and military medical centers, according to a RMS statement.
