    May 17, 2021

Amman, May. 16 (Petra) -- A Cabinet session, chaired by Prime Minister, Bisher Khasawneh, on Sunday decided to postpone payment of installments owed by students who have received loans from the Student Support Fund, for the months of May, June and July.

The decision comes for the purpose of easing pressure on students and their families in light of the impacts of the Coronavirus crisis, provided that students have the freedom to choose if they wish to pay the installments they owe without delay.

The Cabinet also approved a set of incentive and mitigation measures in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone for 2021, in accordance with the decisions taken by the Cabinet on 3/31/2021 to stimulate the national economy for 2021.

On the other hand, the Cabinet decided to appoint retired Major General Ismail Al-Ghunaimiyeen as CEO and General Director of the Economic and Social Association of Retired Servicemen and Veterans.
